
Shirlene Quigley, a former dancer for Rihanna, Missy Elliott, and Beyonce, mysteriously vanished early Sunday (Oct. 23) morning, according to reports. Following the sad news, Rihanna and Missy took to Instagram to ask fans to spread the word about her disappearance.
Rihanna jumped on her account to share a video of Quigley, who danced alongside the singer in her “S.O.S.” music video back in 2006, as well as a number of live performances.
“This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING,” Rihanna wrote. “My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her! If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequigley’s whereabouts …..PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100 !!!!”
Missy also shared a throwback video of Quigley on her Instagram page, praying for her safe return. “This is @shirlenequigley she’s been missing since Friday she is so loved & we pray for her safe return,” the “Pep Rally” rapper wrote. “If u have any information or seen her please contact North Bergen police 201-392-2100 she was last seen at 12:55 am at Port Authority. Need help from the whole Dance Community to spread the word!” The rapper also remembered her kind and loving spirit. “Those who have met her know her spirit is always bubbly and kind & uplifting energy! Sending countless prayers.”
Quigley was reportedly a professional dance teacher at Peridance Capezio Center and Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan, New York. The 32-year-old was last seen at NYC’s Port Authority Bus Terminal, wearing a pink jacket, according to NBC News. Her father reportedly stated that he became worried about his daughter when she hadn’t reached out to him for their routine 6p.m. calls every evening. A car matching the description of Quigley’s Mercedes was reportedly towed from a Manhattan location.
UPDATE: Thankfully, Shirlene has been located alive and is now safe.
