Rihanna and Jay Z have been in business with each other for a while now since Jay’s label Roc Nation signed the pop singer to a deal back in 2004. Now they may have a bit of trouble on their hands after a show was canceled in 2013.
Nigerian concert promoter, Chris Ubosi, filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday (June 6), alleging that he and his company were stiffed out of $160,000 after Rihanna didn’t end up performing three years ago.

The New York Daily News reported that Ubosi agreed to pay $435,000 for a 65-minute show at the popular Eko Hotel and put up the $160,000 in advance. When the concert was pushed back to July, a new date still hadn’t been set, so he decided to cancel. Ubosi ended up never receiving that money back.
