Love seems to be Rita Ora’s brain as she’s getting ready to release her upcoming album after recently signing to Atlantic Records. On the first offering from the project, “Your Love”, which was also co-written by Ed Sheeran. She offers pleasant, feel good vibes that glisten with he joys of love, rather than brooding in these dark times. It’s a sunny electro-pop record that beautifully paints the picture of a wild night out that leads to some nice romance.
Ora explained how “Your Song” represents where her she is in her life right now. “Your Song” has everything I wanted to express: it’s a song that’s full of positivity and about feeling on top of the world, like everything is going right and that’s where my life is right now.”
She also described what it was like to work with Sheeran and fellow collaborator Steve Mac.
“I loved working with Ed and Steve; it was incredible to really bring this idea to life with some of the most talented songwriters of our time. Ed and I have been friends since our teens, it’s brilliant to have the opportunity to collaborate with him for my first single, we definitely click creatively.”
