RZA has recently partnered with Atari to produce an album made entirely of the music and sounds from the classic video game. In a press release for Billboard, RZA stated the following:
“I’m so excited to work on these iconic games to deliver what I believe will be one of my best albums,” he said. “I am going to invite some of my friends to join me and it will be Game On with the first beat!”
RZA is no stranger to working with the legendary company. In 2006, he partnered with the company to do some voice-over work for the video game, ‘Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.’ Be on the lookout for the album.
