The wait is almost over! Schoolboy Q apologizes for the delay, but wants fans to know his forthcoming album will be here any day now, July 8, to be exact.
Top Dawg Entertainment has been full of surprises and announcements, but this might be the best one yet. CEO, Anthony Tiffith took to Twitter over the Memorial Day Weekend to field questions about developments inside the label, and Tiffith shared that new albums from SZA, Isaiah Rashad, and Schoolboy would be coming summer ’16.
Today (June 1), the “Collard Greens” rapper confirmed the news on Twitter. “Sorry for tHe delay but album drops….7/8/16 final date……,” he tweeted, “….7/8/16 final date.”
The title for his latest work has not been released, but he dropped the album’s lead single, “THat Part” featuring Kanye West, ahead of schedule. There are couple more holes that need to be filled leading up to July, but stay tuned for that.
