Summer Sixteen is in full swing. Drake’s OVO Fest kicked off Saturday (July 30) and to start things the right way, The 6 God welcomed a guest appearance from dancehall king, Sean Paul.
The Jamaican rapper’s performance fell in line with the Caribana Festival, which will conclude August 1. During his guest set, Sean ran through his hits including “Gimme De Light,” “Like Glue,” “Temperature,” and his latest feature verse from Tory Lanez’s remix of “Luv.”
The dancehall artist definitely got fans on their feet, but unfortunately the other “King of the Dancehall,” Beenie Man, missed out on his OVO set, after contracting the Zika virus. Canadian immigration denied Beenie a visa to perform in the six due to the growing threat in North America.
OVO will include big performances by Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg Sunday (July 31) Stay tuned for more surprises, but in the meantime, check out Sean Paul’s set in the videos below.
