Fans, friends and family are still grieving the unexpected death of Brooklyn emcee Sean Price who passed away in his sleep Saturday, August 8. And while the hip-hop community comes to grips with the loss, many have come together to show support for Price’s family.
Shady Records donated $10,000 to the Sean Price Crowd Rise donation to help support the late rapper’s wife and four kids he leaves behind, bringing the total amount of donations to $80,506 as of Thursday. (August 13)
Price, who turned 43 in March, was a well-respected lyricist who was equally known for his rhymes as he was his humor. A proud family man, Price often performed on stage with his daughter, also named Sean Price, to the delight of the crowd as well as himself.
Good looks, Shady Records.
