Shawty Lo will be laid to rest next month. According to All Hip Hop, Lo’s funeral is scheduled for Oct. 1 at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta.
The 40-year-old rapper, whose birth name was Carlos Walker, passed away in an early-morning car accident Wednesday (Sept. 21), after being ejected from his vehicle.
His cause of death is listed as “blunt force trauma to the head.” Two women who were riding with him at the time of the accident sustained non-fatal injuries.
