Yesterday (Oct. 31), music and Hollywood players took full advantage of the Halloween holiday to suit up as their favorite (or funniest) characters at parties, at work and with their families. Performance stages were evidently not exempt from the spooky spirit, as rapper Sheck Wes came in character right to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The Uptown, New York artist, signed to Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack label, touched down on the stage decked out in a Jeepers Creepers costume to deliver a performance of his platinum song “Mo Bamba” to the crowd.

Typically, his infectious MUDBOY single is the certified party anthem that causes crowds to stir with excitement (usually to the point of moshing), but something about the mandatory censorship of his Fallon performance felt a bit different. While it admittedly felt a bit hollow without the beloved cuss word ad-libs decorating the song, Wes still held down the stage with as much energy as he and his hype men could evoke.
