She’s Ryan returns with a new body of tunes titled Hood Hippie. The “Supercharge” artist cleverly fuses some of your favorite genres including hip-hop, Dance, Pop, and Rock over the 6-track musical journey.
The soundscape also receives stellar production credits from Kiz, Fame School, and BlkMgk. The singer/songwriter, who hails from Brooklyn, NY, said in a previous interview with VIBE that she always knew she was destined to become an artist.
“I knew I wanted to be a music artist when I was about 10. It was my mother’s birthday and I wrote a full song for her called ‘The Birthday Song’ (laughs) which had verses, a hook, and everything,” she said. “I recorded it on an old recorder I found in the house, and it’s been history ever since. I later joined the school chorus and band, where I always performed solos, and played the clarinet because it was my favorite instrument.”
