The artist formerly known as Sinead O’Connor took to Twitter early Tuesday morning (Nov. 6) to make some bold statements after her recent conversion to Islam. Now known as Shuhada Davitt, the Irish singer-songwriter braced followers before revealing she no longer wants to be associated with white people.
“What I’m about to say is something so racist I never thought my soul could ever feel it. But truly I never wanna spend time with white people again. Not for one moment, they are truly disgusting,” she tweeted.
In a series of bold tweets, Davitt spoke on her belief in wome and her disgust for Donald Trump and his administration, stating sometimes you have to match fire with fire.
“NO more martyrs, please. It’s a STOOOOOOOPID I-F***ING-DEA. Lads. Sit down and let the females show you how to sing the devil to sleep.”

Interesting to see if Twitter bans this when it allows people like Trump and Milbank spew the satanic filth upon even my country #KKKINNEWTONARDSPICKETMOSQUETHEDAYIMADEMYSHAHDAHOWWEIRDISTHAT?

The 51-year-old “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer announced last month that converting to Islam “is the natural conclusion of any intelligent theologian’s journey.”
“All scripture leads to Islam. Which makes all other scriptures redundant,” the Grammy winner added, before revealing she would henceforth be known by a new name. “I will be given (another) new name. It will be Shuhada.’ ”
Some followers reacted to Davitt’s rant by proclaiming she’d been radicalized.
The singer has always also struggled with mental health issues, but has taken to social media to be open about it in hopes to inspire others to speak about their battles.
