Sir The Baptist is slowly but surely creeping into a spotlight of his own. After garnering nearly over 2 million listens for his Spotify-climbing tune, “Raise Hell” and hitting music festivals back-to-back (with Jay Z showing love), the Chicago native gifts music lovers with a new uplifting track, “What We Got.”
With the help of Grammy-winning songwriter/producer and gospel veteran Donald Lawrence, the Bronzeville native is staying true to his musical path of touching on real aspects of life. On this choir-ladened track, the “urban monk” addresses the importance of appreciating all that you have regardless of how “rich” your circumstance may or may not be. Because as the good saying goes, “Trouble don’t last always.”
Gone ‘head and get a does of positivity with his 2nd single off of his upcoming debut album, PK: Preacher’s Kid.
