Sir The Baptist just released a powerful new video for his track, “What We Got” — featuring Donald Lawrence & Company. The video takes viewers on the journey of what it means to keep faith in your life with powerful throwback images and the crooner wearing a suit that states what he believes in.
The moving artist doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon as this release comes shortly after his Tidal X concert performance where he shared the stage with such acts as Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Lauryn Hill, Common and Robin Thicke. Sir not only wrote and produced the record, but he also directed the video.
He is set to release his upcoming project early of next year entitled, Preacher’s Kid. For new fans, Sir’s “Raise Hell” records is one of his widely known tracks which has received over 2.2 million Spotify streams. That single alone has received a nomination for “Impact Track” for the BET Hip Hop Awards and has been featured in BET’s The Gary Owens Show.
