Slim Thug isn’t pleased with Troy Ave’s behavior as of late. The Houston rapper blasted Troy after witnessing video footage of him opening fire into a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza Wednesday (May 25)
“You new n—-s ain’t that smart, man. You new n—-s be doin’ a lot of dumb s–t,” he began in a video posted on Instagram that has since been deleted. Thug goes on to call Troy “dumb” for bringing a loaded gun into a packed venue.
“This not Belly. You can’t just walk in there and chop it up and get away, it ain’t real. Wake up young n—-s, y’all too dumb. Get out the dumb s–t and do some smart s–t,” he added.
The reason behind the fatal shooting, which left Ronald “BSBBanga” McPhatter, a member of Troy’s entourage dead, is still undetermined, but Troy Ave has been arrested for attempted murder.
Rapper, Maino, who was also in attendance at the concert venue was also presumed to be involved in the shooting, although he denies that he or his entourage were in any way connected to the incident. T.I who slated to headline that night, has also expressed his grief and condolences for the tragic loss. Following Slim Thug’s Instagram video, the rapper tweeted in order to clear up the situation.
“Wow I had no idea the media would repost my Ig video to the world let me be regular please,” he tweeted. “Wasn’t tryna diss Troy Ave or his crew just hate to see young ppl who getting money go to jail prayers to his loved ones.”
His video may not have intended to be disrespectful, but his comments definitely packed a lot of punch in regards to the issue at hand. Check out Slim Thug’s video and tweets below.
