Snoh Aalegra is out to bring a new voice to R&B. The soulful Swedish singer, who released her latest EP, There Will Be Sunshine, last year, will follow-up her last project with her forthcoming mini-album, Don’t Explain.
The release, which is set to drop on April 8, is led by the ARTium Music signee’s newest single “Under the Influence.” With John Mayer on lead guitar, the Persian-born beauty recalls a time in which she was so intoxicated by love that it felt as though a substance was behind the feeling. Aalegra, who is often likened to Lauryn Hill and the late Amy Winehouse for her bluesy vocal style, took to Instagram on Monday (March 28) to announce that Don’t Explain is officially available for preorder.
