Snoop Dogg is apparently pulling all of his strings in an effort to save the iconic L.A. restaurant Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, according to TMZ.
Earlier this month, the parent company to the beloved eatery filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, claiming the company is in debt somewhere between $10 and 50 million. Uncle Snoop, who is one of the many fans of the chicken spot was not down for this though.
In a short video, Snoop expressed his astonishment and concern for the downfall of the L.A. joint. But not to fear: Snoop has plans to get the restaurant back on its feet. “Well, I guess I have to buy it and make it Snoop’s Chicken and Waffles,” he said.
I don’t know how the fans – including President Barack Obama, Kendrick Lamar, and Denzel Washington, think about the potential name change, but it does have a pretty good ring to it. Check out the Snoop’s short chat below.
