Solange has reportedly pulled out of the 2019 Coachella festival. The cancellation comes just one week before she was set to take the stage.
The music festival organizers made the announcement on the event’s official Twitter account. “Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year’s festival,” they tweeted. “She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.”
Solo was scheduled to perform on Saturday, April 13 and April 20. She was expected to perform new music from her new studio album When I Get Home, which dropped on Mar. 1. It’s unclear if the festival has found a replacement at this time.
Despite Solange’s absence, however, Coachella 2019 should still be a great time for fans. Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, and Ariana Grande are set to headline the major festival. Other acts include Kid Cudi, Janelle Monae, Anderson .Paak, YG, Bad Bunny, and Kanye West’s Sunday Service.
