In the one-minute clip, a bevy of dancers in black suits are featured in a hallway, performing ripple-effect choreography reminiscent of Chinese Guan Yin. Later in the video, Solange is featured dancing and singing along with a friend in a hotel room, and then she’s seen with women wearing blonde wigs and brown bodysuits. The clip ends with a woman giving a tutorial of sorts.
“Do nothing without intention,” she states.
Earlier this week, Solange came back from a social media hiatus to announce that new visual imagery is available on the site BlackPlanet, which could offer hints as to what her next project could entail in terms of content. A newsletter sign-up page was also available on her BlackPlanet profile, so that fans can stay in the know.
While she hasn’t divulged much about her upcoming album, Solange did recently cover i-D Magazine for their Homegrown Issue, in which she wore styles by designers such as Marc Jacobs.
Watch the clip below, and get ready for some new music.
