Guitarist, producer and vocalist Steve Lacy is already living his best life. At just 18 years old, the promising talent has embarked on his first tour as one-sixth of The Internet whose 2015 album, Ego Death, was nominated for a Grammy.
Now, the youngest member of the group is stepping out into the lone spotlight with a new track titled “Some,” the first single from his forthcoming project, Steve Lacy’s Demo. Anchored by woozy bass and electric guitar strums, his vocals float atop the groove-inducing jam that’s soulful yet youthful in all the right ways. “I know there’s lots of love in your heart, but who you gonna give it to? ” he sings.
