The music world is still mourning the loss of a pioneer, Prince, after he was pronounced dead on Apr. 21 in his Paisley Park estate. Authorities are still looking into the exact cause of his untimely passing.
Friends and collaborators of Prince continue to share their condolences for The Purple One through priceless stories or songs. Stevie Wonder did the latter during a performance in Los Angeles, Calif., on Friday (May 6) that uplifted the memory of Prince.
According to TIME, Wonder was joined by fellow singer Eric Benet, and shared a quick statement on Prince’s legacy. “I think the only thing we can do in the spirit of Prince is to learn to truly love one another and come together. And we can’t just talk about it, we gotta be about it.”
Wonder also shared the stage with Aloe Blacc and Faith Evans who sang a rendition of Prince’s “I Wanna Be Your Lover,” Billboard reports.
