Suge Knight has reportedly been stabilized after he was taken to the hospital Wednesday. (Mar. 22) The Death Row Records co-founder and CEO checked into the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for treatment for blood clots, the NY Daily News reports.
The blood clots were a result of a condition that the infamous media mogul has been dealing with since 2014 when he was shot seven times in a nightclub in West Hollywood. Suge, who was being detained in solitary confinement at the time, complained numerous times about his health concerns, TMZ reports. Knight’s recent hospital visit is one of many in the last year. Doctors say Knight is in stable condition now, but it is unclear when he will be released.
In addition to worrying about his health issues, the music exec is currently facing a murder and attempted murder for allegedly running Terry Carter over with his vehicle, following an altercation on the Straight Outta Compton film set in 2015. The other victim, Cle Sloan, survived the accident with a mangled foot and head injuries. Suge pleaded not guilty to both charges. Although, if convicted, he could spend life in prison.
