The person in question is named Jimmy Carlton Winfrey who is reportedly Young Thug’s road manager, TMZ states. Carlton is being charged with terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a criminal, aggravated assault and other multiple criminal charges.
Weezy and Thugger haven’t seen eye to eye since the ATL native wanted to name his current mixtape “Carter 6” (he eventually changed it to Barter 6), but the “Stoner” rapper resurfaced earlier this week to reveal that he’s releasing yet another project titled “Tha Carter V.”
“I’ma drop one more mixtape [before my album], I’ll probably name it Tha Carter V,” he said. “‘Cause the original Carter V still ain’t came out yet. I don’t know what the f-ck they doing, so I’m putting that motherf-cker out for ‘em.”
Update: According to TMZ, Winfrey has turned himself in to police.
Jimmy Carlton Winfrey surrendered early Tuesday morning in Cobb County, Georgia. He faces charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity.
