T-Pain is heading back to the musical charts with the imminent release of his fifth album, Stoicville: The Phoenix. The Tallahassee native took to his Twitter account to reveal the drop date, which arrives this winter season.
“December 11th “Stoicville: The Phoenix” rises!!! Taking you to new levels of T-Pain…one banger at a time!” the “Buy U A Drank” artist tweeted. So far, fans have enjoyed two singles from the forthcoming project including “Roof On Fye,” and “Make That Sh*t Work.”

In an interview with Rap-Up, Pain also dished on what to expect from Stoicville. “I’m just doing what comes to my heart. I’m not trying to make a blockbuster album,” he said. “I’m not trying to make a hit record. It’s not about that anymore. I’ve done that many times. It’s just about putting out music that I believe in now. It’s a little more free than before.”
This project serves as a follow-up to Pain’s 2011 Revolver album, which featured Ne-Yo, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and more.
