Takeoff has released his debut solo album, The Last Rocket. The new project landed on Friday (Nov. 2).
Although Takeoff remained mum about the details of the project, he teased its arrival earlier last week with a brief video clip. The rapper also hosted an exclusive listening party in Los Angeles.
The project appears to consist of 10 tracks with no features. Its key producers include Cassius Jay and DJ Durel. The album includes the pre-released single “Last Memory.” Takeoff also shared a cut of “Infatuation.”
This is the second solo project that has been released from the Migos. It follows Quavo’s debut, Quavo Huncho, which dropped in Oct. 2018. It’s assumed that the last member of the trio, Offset will deliver his solo project later this year. The group is also on the brink of their joint album, Culture III, which is slated to drop sometime in 2019.
