With 2018 only a week in, tour season has already descended upon us. Today (Jan. 8), Taylor Bennett, independent Chicago rapper (and brother to Chance The Rapper), announced that he will be going on cross-country tour next month starting in Washington D.C., almost a year since releasing his sophomore album, Restoration Of An American Idol.

Released February 2017, Bennett’s maturation seeps from the album’s pores, partially due to a health scare, watching Chance reach stardom, and coming out as bisexual on the day before his 21st birthday.
To properly celebrate the effort and even tease new material, his Restoration Of An American Idol tour will hit the road Feb. 26, stopping in cities like New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego, Seattle, Houston and Atlanta. This comes just days after teaming up with Bianca Shaw for a new single, “Only Difference.”
