After signing a record deal with Atlantic Records earlier in the week, Wiz Khalifa and the Taylor Gang dropped their first collaborative mixtape, TGod Volume 1.
Khalifa premiered the mixtape on Twitter Tuesday (Oct. 11) which features the Pittsburgh rapper alongside the rest of the Taylor Gang squad: Ty Dolla Sign, Al Pac, Juicy J, Berner, Chevy Woods, Tuki Carter, Sledgren, Raven Felix, JR Donato, TM-88, Ricky P, and Sosamann.
Outside of the Taylor Gang family, the mixtape also features guest appearances from Cassie Veggies, Sauce Walka, Devin Cruise, Project Pat, and more.
On the production end, the list varies from the in-house Taylor Gang team of TM-88, Ricky P, and Juicy J, to Brooklyn’s Harry Fraud and Atlanta production crew, 808 Mafia.
The 27-track mixtape is the perfect fit for Taylor Gang’s stoner but yet grimy feel, and illuminates a nostalgic vibes that feels like a throwback to the Diplomat’s 2003 release, Diplomatic Immunity.
