It’s going to be a busy 2017 for Top Dawg Entertainment. On Saturday (April 1), label president, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith gave an update on the albums that TDE plans to drop this year.
After Kendrick Lamar’s unleashes his latest album — which is slated for release any day — SZA will unveil her CTRL debut. And the new LP sounds amazing,” according to Top Dawg.
Schoolboy Q’s fifth studio album, and first since 2016’s Blank Face, will arrive “after K. Dot and SZA,” while Jay Rock rounds out the string of releases with a new project sometime this year.
Top Dawg also asked his followers if they wanted “post a few K. Dot tracks” — but it wasn’t quite what they were expecting.
