It seems that the lawsuits keep piling up against Tekashi 6ix9ine. Days after Fashion Nova sued him for $2.5 million comes another potential legal battle, this time from a woman who was injured in a 2018 gang-related shooting.
According to TMZ, the woman — identified only as “Jane Doe” — is suing for more than $150 million in damages after she was injured in the violent melee that Tekashi allegedly ordered against rival gang members in the courtyard of Brooklyn’s Smurf Village. The violence erupted during a video shoot. The woman was hit in the foot by a stray bullet and injured her knee and back upon falling to the ground.
Tekashi apologized to the victim and offered to pay her medical bills during his court sentencing on federal drug and weapons charges last year. He is scheduled to be released from prison in August.
Due to her injuries, the woman underwent surgery and physical therapy, was forced to quit her retail job, and won’t be able to follow her dreams of becoming a police officer. Tekashi’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, questioned why the woman sued her client, even though he “did not shoot her.”
The “Fefe” rapper is also being sued by Shane Hardy, a man claiming to be his former friend. Hardy accuses the 23-year-old native New Yorker of ordering a hit out on him. Florio says Tekashi doesn’t know Hardy.
