Tekashi 6ix9ine Apologizes For His Actions Following XXXTentacion’s Death

In the wake of the sudden death of 20-year-old XXXTentacion, Tekashi 6ix9ine took to social media to apologize to anyone he’s offended through his actions and words.

“Sometimes I feel like I do too much trolling,” he said in a recent video posted to Instagram today (Jun. 18). “Sometimes I feel like I do too much. And tomorrow’s not promised, you know what I mean? I feel like someone might get the wrong image of me. You could be here today and be gone tomorrow.”

He took the next part of his speech to discuss the relationship he had with XXXTentacion, who was shot dead in Florida earlier this afternoon.

“X spread nothing but positivity. Always called me on the phone, ‘Danny, are you okay?’ ‘Danny, you’re doing this the right way just try to do more of this. You could call me, talk to me like what’s going on.’… Knowing that he was nothing but positive and nobody wanted to harm him.”

A Brooklyn-bred musician, Tekashi has been embroiled in several beefs with many different rappers throughout his time the spotlight. He is currently under investigation for possible involvement in a shooting geared at rapper Chief Keef. Hopefully, the passing of the musician serves as a wake up call for many young artists.
