Tekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly pled guilty to ordering the shooting of Chief Keef outside of New York City’s W Hotel in June 2018. However, the “Gunmo rapper” has recently revealed the name of the hired shooter.
According to reports, the rainbow hair artist enlisted Kintea “Kooda B” McKenzie to be the trigger man. In court documents, Tekshi revealed he offered Koda $20,000 for the June 2 shooting of the Chicago rapper. Tekashi later confirmed he and his manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan met with Mckenzie to pay him but offered $10,000 instead of the original $20K.
Before admitting he was involved, footage showed 6ix9ine on the phone with Chief Keef’s cousin Tadoe. In the video, which quickly went viral, Tekashi can be heard offering $30,000 to harm Keef.
“I swear to God I got a 30 pack,” Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, can be heard saying.
McKenzie was reportedly on the run when his name was originally on the run when the Jan. 31 indictment was handed down. He was later arrested Feb. 8 and now faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison with a maximum sentence of life behind bars.
The 21-year-old has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in accordance with a racketeering conspiracy.
