Just one week before his studio album Dummy Boy is set to drop, Tekashi revealed that he fired his entire team and canceled his tour, which was set to kick off tonight (Nov. 16) in Austin, Texas.
“I cancelled my whole tour, the American dates is not happening,” the “FEFE” musician said in a video shared to Instagram. “I fired everybody in my team. I don’t got no manager. I got no booking agent. I got no PR. I got no publicist. I got nobody on my team. It’s just me.” Tekashi said he’s working with the Texas venue and its promoters to reschedule the Austin show.
Elsewhere in the video, the Brooklynite warns venues and promoters about fraudulent bookers and urged them to book directly with him from now on in order to avoid being scammed.
“If you’re booking shows, do not book shows unless I say ‘this show is gonna be booked with this person,” he continued. “They will steal your money. They’re not me. I’m not signing no f**king contracts that got nothing to do with me,” he said. “Whoever is booking shows for Tekashi 6ix9ine is stealing your f**king money… If you’re not on the phone with me, do not book that show, ’cause it’s not me… I don’t give f**k who you used to see me with, they’re no longer around, it’s a f**kin’ dub.”
Very interested to see how everything will play out now that 6ix9ine is working solo dolo.
