The-Dream has a few projects up this sleeve, and we’re excited for all of them. It’s been a year since his EP Royal, now he is releasing a couple more. The Southern producer/singer recently posted an Instagram video of him working his magic on a keyboard. In the visual he’s playing “Fabulous” from his upcoming album, Morphine.
The caption reads, “And after you turn in #CrownJewel to the fine people at Itunes and all retailers and Mom and Pops, you realize you are 7 songs deep of new album #Morphine […] I don’t know what them other artist are doing but it’s going to be a long 36 months!”
While we patiently wait for that album, we won’t have to wait long for the Crown EP (Apr. 14). Following that will be Jewel. Crown is a 6-track project with production with Tricky Stewart and a feature from T.I. on one single titled “That’s My Shit.”

“Crown is more modern R&B and Jewel will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side,” said Dream. “If you put me in a box, Jewel is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in.” — Cook T.P.
