At one point, The Game was signed to 50 Cent’s G-Unit imprint and for a while all was merry. The two created music together, made music videos together and were primed to become one of Hip-Hop’s most dominating rap duos.
But then things went left and The Game and Fif had their very public fall out. Game stayed loyal to his West Coast roots, while 50 Cent packed up Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and company and went about their business.
So you must understand the surprise and universal (Scooby Doo voice) “roh roh” the Internet experienced when The Game posted a photo of himself with Banks Wednesday night (February 17). Both emcees were in Dubai and Game wrote a very simple caption. “Still.”
Hip-Hop beefs have been known to flare up and die in due time, so that could be an explanation as to why this picture was snapped. There was a mixed bag of reactions to the photo. Some of Game’s fans went as far to say as “G-Unit is back. This is legendary.” or “Awesome.” While others weren’t too sure how to react “Oh s–t, something’s ’bout to pop off.”
Either way, glad to see two grown men leave the past in the past.
