The fourth quarter of 2016 is filled with plenty of surprises. After the announcement of projects from Kid Cudi, J. Cole and Childish Gambino, The Lox have joined the list with a new album and home at Roc Nation.
The label confirmed the signing of the hip-hop vets via Twitter Thursday evening (Dec. 1). Despite their last studio album We Are The Streets going gold in 2000 at Def Jam, the fellas have kept it independent with the releases The Trinity, The Trinity 2nd Sermon, and The Trinity 3rd Sermon. For the first time in 16 years, the group will release the studio album Filthy America… It’s Beautiful on Dec. 16.
