On the heals of their forthcoming album, THEY. has dropped a new addictive single. “What You Want” debuted on Nov. 9, and it should be every rockstar’s new anthem.
THEY—comprised of Dante Jones and Drew Love—perfectly fuse the sounds of R&B and the instrumentals of rock n’roll into one hit track. On the three-minute single, the dynamic duo show they have all the juice. “You the one that gon’ act like you don’t know who we are We the only niggas in here who could buy the bar,” they sing.
“What You Want” is coming straight from their debut album, Nü Religion: HYENA, which is slated to release sometime in Feb. 2017. The single follows the release of other hits such as “Say When” and “Deep End.” In addition to gearing up for an epic album debut, the two are also set to join the upcoming Summer’s Over Tour featuring PARTNEXTDOOR and Jeremih. The 13-date tour will kick off on Nov. 21 in New York City’s Terminal 5, rolling through cities like Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, and LA, before ending in San Francisco on Dec. 11.
