Two of hip hop’s most revered lyricists might link up on wax in the near future. According to T.I.’s Instagram account, the Atlanta native revealed he’s in the studio with Jay Z who might make an appearance on TIP’s The Dime Trap album, which is reportedly due later this year.
“The 3 young Kings seen in this photo came together for 1reason. Can u guess? Go head,Guess…. CLUE: 3 words 10 letters. I’ll wait…. Answer: “Da Dime Trap,” he revealed. The “No Mediocre” rapper has remained tight-lipped on what fans can expect from his new project, but it’s suspected that he’s also working with Dr. Dre.
If all goes as planned, this will be the third time the rappers have joined lyrical forces, following 2007’s “Watch What You Say To Me” and 2008’s single “Swagga Like Us” which also featured Kanye West, and Lil Wayne.
