A few dangerously beautiful women are on a mission to steal some of the night’s most prized possessions at a luxurious house party thrown by T.I. and Young Thug. The ATL duo throw a lavish gathering on the visuals for T.I.’s latest single ‘The Weekend” off his 10th studio album, Dime Trap.
The Kid Art-directed mini film spans a total of six minutes and is dotted with all the trappings of wealth, mischief and luxury. Tip and Thug shell out $100 bills behind a beautiful dark backdrop inside their festivities; the video’s dark but the expensive feel looks like it was made by a collage of Polaroid pictures. Dave East also makes a cameo on the scene.
One of the sly robbers is caught snatching a man’s gold watch as other women distract him. In the end, as one of the fatal beauties attempts to rob the rap duo they viciously throw her out the window.
Amid the thought-provoking visuals, T.I. also made it a point to share his staunch political views about President Trump on the promotional video for Dime Trap. The video has caused some controversy as it features a Melania Trump lookalike stripping for TIP in the White House. The model is also wearing a jacket that reads “I Really Don’t Care Do U?” on the back, which is what the first lady had on her jacket while she visited migrant children in Texas.
According to The New York Post, a spokesperson for Melania has urged people to boycott the Atlanta rapper because of it. He first shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye.”
