

Canadian musician Tory Lanez, famous for his hits “LUV” and “Say It,” has been arrested on gun and drug charges in Broward County, Fla.
Yesterday (Apr. 12), 24-year-old Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson) was taken into custody by Miramar police and charged with possession of cannabis (a first-degree misdemeanor), possession of a concealed firearm (a third-degree felony), driving without a valid license, failure to register his vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance.
Lanez will be embarking on Future’s tour “Nobody’s Safe,” starting on May 4. He’s riding high off of the success of his own album, I Told You, which debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 Album Chart in September 2016. Earlier this year, Lanez dropped two mixtapes, The New Toronto 2 And Chixtape 4.
No reps from Lanez’s team has commented on the reports.
