On Friday (Nov. 16), Tory Lanez dropped a new video for his song “If It Ain’t Right” with Bronx-raised MC A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The melody appears on Lanez’s third studio album LoVE me NOw?
“If It Ain’t Right” boasts a soft, melodic flow that can still make noise in the club. Additionally, the video visually matches the song’s aura.
The reel showcases Lanez luxuriating in a red lounge that is pitch dark with models by his side. A-Boogie comes along later, rocking white Givenchy shirts, white denim jeans, and flashy accessories to match.
Lanez’s LoVE me NOw? features collaborations with artists like Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, and Rich the Kid. Recently, the 26-year-old Toronto native spoke with VIBE about his mission for this project. “I just wanted to be free with the music. I didn’t want to have to worry about which song needed a rap verse or which song needed me to sing on the hook,” he said. “I just wanted to do something where whatever happened, happened.”
