There’s a lot going on in the world of Travis Scott. The G.O.O.D Music signee called in to DJ Whoo Kid’s “Whoolywood Shuffle” on Shade 45 to explain the hold up on his Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. Since the album was supposed to drop last week, La Flare explains that his new deal with Apple had something to do with the delay and expressed his own expectations for the release of his sophomore LP.
Afterwards, Whoo Kid brought up a conversation he had with Jay Z, in which he hinted at possibly working with Scott in the future. Travis tries his best to act like he doesn’t know Jay Z has an album in the works, but he did say that their conversations about music are real and that “shit could come out of it.”
“We talk like every other, other, other, other day,” Travis said on the phone. “We talk about music all the time. He’s got his project, and I don’t know what he’s working on now, but I don’t to spoil nothing or say nothing. You know how he rocks. But just know that we talk and shit could come out of it.”
The interview shifts from discussions about his contributions to the upcoming Yeezy designs and all the pandemonium that went on outside of Webster Hall during impromptu G.O.O.D. music show after HOT 97’s Summer Jam. Their conversation turns slightly left after Travis finds out about the terrible terror attack that happened in Nice, France while on-air.
