Travis Scott made his debut on Saturday Night Live on Oct. 6. During his sets, he performed a medley of hits from his latest No. 1 project, Astroworld.
For his first musical number, Trav performed his singles “Skeletons” and “Astrothunder” alongside a live band (which included Mike Dean on the keys and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and John Mayer on the guitar) and a backup dancer swirling around on a carousel horse.
His second performance included a rendition of his hit single “Sick Mode,” which originally features Drake. The set featured a smoke machine and a trippy light show.
In addition to his live performances, the Texas artist also participated in some of the SNL skits. He even stepped out of character and partook in a dance battle sketch, playing the role of a back-up dancer.
As previously reported, Travis Scott dropped his latest studio album, Astroworld in Aug. 2018. The album peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling 537,000 equivalent album units, 270,000 of those being pure album sales.
