Trevor Jackson is taking fans to school with his music video for “Rock Wit Me.”
While premiering mixtape In My Feelings with VIBE, the 19-year old heartthrob announced that his career would be taking a more mature turn. With the help of Delante Murphy, Jackson is stacking up with the producer’s past cosign Trey Songz as well as Jeremih and Jason Derulo. So far, the singer dealt out videos for “Bang Bang” with Kevin Gates, “Simple As This,” and “Like I Do.” “Rock Wit Me” is the first video released off the mixtape with a love interest.
A sizzling spin on college sweethearts, the video documents moving in to making moves—showcasing Jackson’s acting abilities outside of ABC’s American Crime. The singer’s visuals sum up university life: class, quads, and of course, a party where feature IAMSU! has his Solo cup ready to be Jackson’s wingman. The R&B singer takes his love back to the dorm. Where the relationship goes from there is left to be continued.
