Trey Songz is giving fans a look behind his (almost unfair) exterior. Releasing an intimate documentary, TRIGGA Reloaded: The Intermission, the singer takes viewers on a journey behind-the-scenes of the “Between The Sheets” tour and Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint” tour. Beginning the 24-minute montage with a personal message, Trey shares that he felt “re-energized by the love” and felt compelled to return it.
“The love I’ve received is beyond belief, I’ve attempted to reciprocate it by sharing this vulnerable yet genuine piece,” he said.

Featuring his travels from London, to Paris, to Angola, to Philadelphia, the documentary finds “Trigga” on radio interviews, video shoots and backstage of both tours. Between guest appearances from the likes of Kevin Hart and Meek Mill, Trey Songz also gets introspective, discussing his views on love and his audience’s reaction to his musical content.
“When it comes to love, I want a woman I could love, look in her eyes and see my whole future. But how will I know when that is? Because I don’t stick around long enough. And even when I’m there, am I all the way in it, you know what I mean?” he asks, “How can you be Trey Songz when you sing ‘a man can’t be a man without a woman’ and nobody listens, but then you sing ‘Na Na,’ everybody pay attention, but it don’t really mean nothing. Everybody pay attention and they scrutinize, and they wanna know ‘Where’s the love?’ I’ve been giving you love all this goddamn time. Nobody care about love.”
