“You on point, Phife? All the time, Tip.”
Phife Dawg and A Tribe Called Quest are still on point after all this time with a new mural being commissioned in Queens.
Vince Ballentine, a local spray can aficionado, will paint the mural on the side of the Nu-Clear Dry Cleaners where the group shot their “Check The Rhime” video. The cleaners is located on Linden Boulevard, a street that could possible be named after the “Bonita Applebum” emcees in the future.

The mock-up above shows all four rappers, Phife Dawg, Q-Tip, Jairobi, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, with a black, green, and red background with “A Tribe Called Quest” above and “Represent, Represent” beneath.
The proper paperwork has been submitted and there has not been any reported push back. This is definitely a major moment for all rap fans.
