Rock The Vote’s #TruthToPower campaign is pulling out Ty Dolla $ign and the Black Eyed Peas for a concert Wednesday night (July 27) in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention. Rock The Vote is a non-profit designed to drive youth to the polls by revolutionizing “the way we use pop culture, music, art and technology to inspire political activity.”
Partnering with #Cut50, a national bipartisan organization interested in reducing America’s incarcerated population, Rock the Vote will also have a large scale pop up exhibition, a discussion forum, and performances to address issues that young people face everyday.
In addition to Ty Dolla $ign and the Black Eyed Peas, Mr. Sonny James and Cosmo Baker will also be present on behalf of Rock The Vote. To learn more about the campaign, head here.
