What a week it has been for Kanye West and his G.O.O.D Music label. After showing his adidas Season 4 fashion show at Roosevelt Island on what was supposed to be an off-day on tour, the label had a pop-up concert at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan last night (Sept. 8). Tickets sold out quick and the venue was packed, making for a lit scene.
G.O.O.D Music president Pusha T was in attendance along with Desiigner, Teyana Taylor, Pharrell and Yeezy, who introduced Tyga as the newest member of the G.O.O.D. Music family.

The signing makes somewhat sense, from a family perspective, Tyga and Kanye are surely always around each other. I’m sure the move makes sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner happy as well.
If there is someone that can get Tyga back on the right path, it’s ‘Ye, who also helped executive produce his 2015 LP, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. Tyga and Desiigner teamed up a for a new track, which they debuted last night.

King Push also announced that Atlanta based group Migos would be joining G.O.O.D Music as well, last night (Sept. 7) at the pop-up show. Even though the “Pipe It Up” rappers are signed to 300 Entertainment for distribution, we can expect more collabs soon.

Cruel Winter on the way!
