Tyga fans are in for a special surprise this Black Friday as the rapper has announced that his newest mixtape Rawwest Ni**a Alive will be released on the major shopping holiday (Nov. 27).
The project features 16 songs including the rapper’s latest single “Dope’d Up,” a track he supported with a bloody Thriller-esque music video starring none other than his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.
Rawwest Ni**a Alive will also see appearances from Goapele, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Tyga’s longtime collaborator Chris Brown, making this the rapper’s fourth musical project this year.
The mixtape will follow he and Chris Brown’s Fan of a Fan collaboration, his August mixtape Fuk What They Talkin Bout, and Tyga’s long delayed but finally released The Gold Album.
The latter of the bunch premiered exclusively on Spotify in June to 2,200 copies sold in its opening week. Though the album received a total of 4 million streams, only 1,500 song streams equate to one full album sale, according to Billboard.
Tyga defended his much-hyped album’s lackluster performance on Twitter after the numbers went public.
“Yall mfs is funny. I put my album out myself for free on spotify, soundcloud, YouTube to stream. Didn’t plan on selling it Kuz of label problems. It’s a dope album. Got a lot of great feedback and millions of streams,” he wrote.
