Tyrese Takes To The Streets Of NYC To Promote His Album ‘Black Rose’

Tyrese took a different approach to advertising his new album Black Rose which involved hitting the streets of the Big Apple.

The “Lately” vocalist put into action a marketing strategy that surprised unsuspecting fans who happened to either be in the same area as the Cali native, or on the same train in Brooklyn.

Part of his reasoning for this recent run from BK to Manhattan has to do with a few opinions on the lack of real R&B albums from artists, and the nostalgia that his current project will bring back to the genre. “Is R&B dead.?? What happened to REAL R&B Fans?? Can we SAVE R&B Soul Music? Are the days of REAL singers over?? Link in my bio let’s make a statement buy the FULL ALBUM now…” he wrote on Instagram.
