Tyrese is perplexed.
Perturbed.
Confused.
Bewildered.
Uncertain, if you will.
The Fast and the Furious actor can’t comprehend how hip-hop has seemingly allowed Yung Joc to continuously get what some would deem flamboyant, feminine hairstyles. Yung Joc’s choice of tresses has baffled the singer/actor so much that he took to Instagram to call out the 34-year-old Atlanta native and simultaneously promote his forthcoming album, Identity Theft.
“Who’s responsible for n****a getting a pass for letting this sh*t go down in hip-hop?” Tyrese questioned. “How did the OGs in the game let this go?”
Tyrese then pivoted the rant to hip-hop’s most respected rappers and vowed to uphold and honor the culture. His first course of action will be his studio album, Identity Theft.
“Here’s my message to Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Busta Rhymes, Tupac, Snoop, BIG, Dr. Dre, RUN DMC, Lil Kim, I vow to honor the culture and [not] disrespect it on any level with what I’m about to do with this album Identity Theft. This new album is inspired by Jay Z.”
While Tyrese has many fans and admirers, there were quite a few people who were annoyed with his Instagram post.
“Maybe somebody is hacking his page because he can’t be serious,” someone wrote. “He’s losing fans and friends. Can someone give him the memo? Tank made TGT. Tyrese might be sniffing that “white girl” and that’s why he’s acting out, y’all.”
Someone else said maybe it’s time Tyrese focused on other things rather than an old picture of Young Joc.
“First of all, we already discussed this picture a year ago. You late,” a commenter wrote. “Fall back and worry about that movie and The Rock.”
Well then…
