Usher is no rush to release his eighth studio album “UR” in fact, the singer-songwriter recently said he has no release date for the project.
During a Q&A interview with Billboard Usher talked about simply having fun with the music and not feeling any pressure to release it as previously intended for the end of the year.
“The album isn’t scheduled anymore. I’ve basically taken it back. I’m taking my time with it,” the host of The Voice said. “At the end of the day, all of this is just about having fun. You get in the studio and go with how you feel.”
With his single “Good Kisser” and the Pharrell and Nicki Minaj assisted “She Came To Give It To You” fans delighted in knowing that Ursher Baby was finally returning to his R&B roots.
Along with Minaj and Pharrell, U R will have guest appearances from VIBE cover boys August Alsina, Ed Sheeran along with Chris Brown, Skrillex and more.
Well, whenever you’re ready Usher. We’ll be waiting.
